| Storytime!!!
Be warned, its a long story.
So a couple days before I came
back to boston, I was sittin in a parking lot, waiting for my parents
who were inside a store, making purchases. I was approached by 2
hispanic girls who asked me to borrow my phone. They looked kinda
sketch so I made sure to keep an eye on them. I turned around for a
second and the next thing I know, one of them is pointing a gun at me
and telling me to get outta my car. I saw the plastic sights on the gun
and assumed the gun was fake and so I called them out on it (and
started talkin hella shit, haha). One of them pulled the trigger and
all i heard was a clicking noise so I started
fighting back for my stuff. The two girls ran to a car, where a 3rd
girl was waiting for em, but before they could take off, I yanked open
one of the doors and started screaming at them. They tried to pull me
in the car, but I slammed the car door on one of the girls legs (go
me!) and then tried to grab one of their purses sittin in the car. At
this point, they again tried to shoot me with the gun. The girl who
wasn't fighting with me ran back to my car so I ran back to my car
before they could take off in my car (I had left the ignition running)
so all she got was my ipod. They eventually got away after a bit more scuffling with them (I was
about to start beating them with my stilettos if they weren't strapped
onto my feet, haha) but I got their license plate number and called
the cops asap. Not even 5 mins later, the cops had found them driving
home. And not even 20 mins later, I had positively id-d all 3 girls,
got my stuff back, and watched all 3 girls pull away sittin in the back
of squad cars.
Turns out the gun was real, but unloaded. Eek!
Lessons to learn: 1. if u see a gun, assume its real 2. cops are useful 3. movies are educational =)
My story made the newspaper!! But they only got like 70% of the story right, frickin reporters.
But seriously people... be careful out there.
On a brighter note, WonderBar is throwing me a welcome home party on Thursday Feb. 22. Come celebrate with me the fact that I'm still alive (okay bad joke), but I hope you people can make it!
